Washington State University Starts First Stand-Alone TCVM Student Club

Tuesday, 01 September 2015 19:53

The first stand-alone TCVM student club was started and approved by the veterinary college and the university administration at Washington State University (WSU) in 2015.

The WSU-TCVM club designed an information web-page and the club constitution (www.watcvm.org), which is being used as a template by other veterinary colleges starting TCVM clubs.

In addition to TCVM club activities, WSU offers an IVM 1-credit elective course for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year DVM students, and a 2-credit elective IVM clinical rotation for 4th year veterinary students at WSU Vet Teaching Hospital.  These activities are coordinated and supervised by Dr. Jessica Bunch, a full-time faculty member at Department of Vet Clinical Sciences, WSU.
