Thailand Association of TCVM
Welcome to the Thailand Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TATCVM), a chapter of the World Association of TCVM. Established in 2024, TATCVM's primary mission is to offer support and resources to veterinary professionals in Thailand practicing any of the branches of TCVM: acupuncture, food therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, and Tui-na to enhance animal care throughout Thailand.
Executive Members of TATCVM
President: Pitchayanin Chomsiriwat DVM, MS, CVA, CVTP, CVFT, CVCH, CCRP
Dr. Pitchayanin Chomsiriwat received her DVM from Chulalongkorn University Bangkok, Thailand. She earned certifications in veterinary acupuncture (CVA), veterinary food therapy (CVFT), veterinary Tui-na (CVTP), veterinary Chinese herbalist (CVCH), as well as her master's degree in TCVM From Chi University and received her certifications in Canine rehabilitation practitioner (CCRP) from University of Tennessee. Dr. Chomsiriwat is the director of Chi Thailand, as well as a lab instructor for Chi China and Chi Indonesia CVA courses and also lectures on TCVM for veterinary associations and university in Thailand.
Vice President: Warinda Somrith, DVM, CVA
Warinda Somrtih, a graduate from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Chiang Mai University, Thailand, in 2017, embarked on her career as a veterinarian in wildlife and exotic pets. Her dedication to continuous learning is evident in her current roles as Chief Operating Officer and Veterinary Acupuncturist at Animal Space Rabbit and Exotic Pet Hospital. She is a qualified veterinary acupuncturist from Chi and has also completed veterinary Chinese herbal therapy courses from the same institution. In 2024, she is furthering her knowledge in TCVM Palliative and End-of-Life Care at Chi, TCVM Palliative and End-of-Life Care a business management master's degree at Chulalongkorn University, and the University of Tennessee Canine Rehabilitation Certificate Program.
Secretary: Nijanan Siriarchawattana, DVM, CVA
Dr. Siriarchawattana achieved her DVM from the Faculty of Veterinary Science at Mahidol University in 2019. She has been a veterinarian at Panalai Veterinary Hospital since 2019, and she is the Head of the Physiatry Unit, which specializes in rehabilitation and acupuncture for exotic pets and small animals. In 2022, she received the Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist from Chi University's Small Animal 2021 class. She completed the Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians Exotics Advanced Acupuncture in 2023 from CuraCore.
Treasurer: Sunisa Sanguanphak DVM, CVA
Dr. Sunisa Sanguanphak received her DVM from Mahanakhon University Bangkok, Thailand. She then went on to earn a certification in veterinary acupuncture (CVA).
