Dr. John Perdrizet is the owner of The Sanctuary Animal Clinic in Holyoke, Massachusetts. He established this clinic in 2001, and has offered his clients an intergative approach to treat the maladies and maintain the health of their large and small animal companions. He has both DVM and PhD degrees from Cornell University in Ithaca NY. While at Cornell, he was a lecturer in large animal internal medicine, and was primary or coauthor on over 20 peer-reviewed articles in veterinary medicine. In 2017 he completed his studies at the Chi Institute in Reddick Fl., and was awarded his MS in TCVM. He is a Certified TCVM Practitioner. He enjoys hiking, gardening, food fermentation and preservation, and walking his dogs with his wife Frankie through the forests of western Massachusetts. He looks forward to contributing his time and talent towards accomplishing the goals of WATCVM.
Dr. Perdrizet received his TCVM Master's Degree from the Chi Institute, Reddick Florida in 2018. His research has been published in the journal Vaccine, in the March 2019 issue. It is the first paper on TCM that has ever been published by this journal! His work showed that vaccination at acupoint GV-14, elicited a significantly higher titer to Canine Distemper Virus vaccine, than vaccination at a non- acupoint location.
