Cannoli - November 2021

Meet Cannoli, a rounder version of Conrad. Cannoli is approximately 6 years old, male neutered with some patella and hips issues, with a history of skin problems. Sadly, he was surrendered to the Humane Society due to his skin issues though it has mostly cleared up. He did great for his treatment but he didn't like the aqua-acupuncture much and got a bit grumpy during it. He loves his Tui-na treatments and lays down and relaxed during the process. Humane Society employees have noticed improvement in his walking throughout the month. 

About Cannoli:

Fire constitution
Aggressive over his food with other dogs

History: Surrendered due to skin issues, which had mostly cleared up
Western Diagnosis: Subluxating patella right worse then left, arthritis in hips and knees
Eastern Diagnosis: Liver Blood Deficiency  Local stagnation at stifle, mild Spleen Qi deficiency 
Acupuncture Treatment: Tonify Liver Blood, Clear Stagnation, Tonify Spleen Qi
Additional Treatment: Tui-na massage, dry/electro/aqua acupuncture
