20th Annual International Conference on TCVM Overview

The Annual International Conference on TCVM has always been an exciting learning and networking opportunity. This marks the 20th anniversary of the TCVM conference. Hosted at the USA Chi Institute campus, this very special anniversary conference is a wonderful chance to reunite with peers and instructors. The conference will span over the course of four days, with two days of lectures and two days of rotating workshops. Lectures will be offered in small and large animal track options. We look forward to seeing new faces and familiar friends as we celebrate our 20th anniversary!

Neurology and Endocrine in Dogs and Cats (2 days) $350*
Equine Track

Lameness, Reproductive and Endocrine/Metabolic Disorders in Horses (2 days) $350*

 *When registration and tuition is received by May 1, 2018

Price per track will increase to $400 for registrations received between May 2 and Aug 1, 2018

Call for Abstracts

We are very pleased to invite TCVM practitioners and clinical researchers to submit abstracts for presentation during the 20th International Convention on TCVM (ICTCVM), held at the Chi Institute Campus in Reddick, Florida, from November 1 to 4, 2018. The main theme of this conference will be TCVM for Lameness, Neurological, Endocrinal and Reproductive Disorders along with five workshops, including Food Nutritional Balance, How to Boost Financial Qi in Private Practice, How to Create a Customized Herbal Recipe, Integrative Therapies for Neurological Diseases in Dogs, Acupoint Scanning/Diagnosis in Horses.  This International TCVM Conference will be co-sponsored by the World Association of TCVM and Chi Institute.  

All submission will be considered for the event and those selected will be invited to speak and present their research papers, clinical pearls or case studies. We are excited to hear from TCVM practitioners from around the world and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Annual International TCVM conferences.

Presentation Categories: 

You may span multiple topics - please indicate all applicable categories when submitting your abstract. 

  • Clinical Research including any study on efficacy or safety/side effect of any TCVM therapeutic, clinically randomized and controlled studies or a retrospective study of a series of cases of a disease or syndrome. This is a 30-minute presentation.  

  • Clinical Application including any new acupuncture techniques/methods, herbal formulas, or Tui-na/food therapy in dogs, cats or horses. This is a 30-minute presentation. 

  • How to, including pearls and clinical tips of how to diagnose and/or treat a disease or medical condition/syndrome of dogs, cats or horses. This is a 30-minute presentation. 

  •  A Case Study including any unique or special case study of dogs, cats, horses, or other species. This is a 10-minute presentation. 

Presentation Awards

Each selected presentation will be awarded $300 for 30-minute, and $150 for 10-minute presentations. The awards will be subtracted from the conference registration dues. A certificate will be awarded to the first place recipient in each category.
